Christian Education Committee
To promote spiritual growth and learning for all members of the parish; to recruit and support teachers/leaders for Sunday school classes and special programs; develop curriculum and gather material for those programs.

Evangelism
1. Improve freindship, hospitality and welcome at all services, special events and activities
2. Add new members--increase regular attendance by present members.
3. Make new members feel welcome--assist them in becoming active members in Good Shepherd activities.
4. Develop and maintain a cooperative relationship with pastor, staff and membership in order to develop a more meaningful spiritual life at Good Shepherd.

Mission and Ministry Committee
Work to extend the ministry of Good Shepherd within our congregation and to the wider community.

Mutual Ministry Committee
To serve as a liaison and mediator between the church staff members and Congregational Council as well as the congregation at large; to offer advice and counsel to staff members; to advise Congregational Council on necessary replacements to the church staff as well as changes in job descriptions; to provide recommendations to the Congregational Council on salary and benefits for staff members; and to help secure assistance and material needed by staff members to complete their assigned tasks.

Property Committee
The committee meets as required to oversee the maintenance and improvements of the buildings and furnishings. Goal is to continually upgrade and maintain the facilities to better serve the needs of the congregation.

Worship and Music
Assist the Congregational Council in seeing that the services of God's House are conducted regularly and in accordance with the liturgy of the ELCA. The committee will recruit, supervise and strive to advance the welfare and effective services of the choirs, assisting ministers, ushers, acolytes and nursery caregivers. It will arrange for the care of paraments, sacramental vessels and musical instruments. In consultation with the pastor and cantor, the committee will furnish all supplies, music and other worship materials, in accordance with the guidelines of the ELCA for congregational worship.
