Two-part Study on
Draft Social Statement
on Genetics

Pastors Kathleen J. Baker (Good Shepherd), Pamela J. Carnes (Penbrook,
Zion), and Joel D. Petruschke (Harrisburg, Our Saviour) will present a
two-part study on the Draft Social Statement on Genetics by the ELCA
task Force on Genetics. The draft is intended to encourage deliberation
on what this church should say about contemporary developments in
genetic research, technology and their use.
The draft is available for download from www.elca.org/geneticsdraft.

Faith on the Farm
at The
Wittel Farm

Faith on the Farm will bring to life the farm imagery of Jesus'
parables to help children learn about, strengthen, and extend their
faith. The program is intended for children aged 6-12. Lunch is
provided. Cost: $8 and one non-perishable food item per person.
To sign up, call the church office (717-564-0385) before July 25.
Everyone will meet at The Wittel Farm and payment will be made at that
time.

Performance by the Keystone Concert Band
- Volunteers needed before and on Community Day
- Donations of soup, hot dogs, and baked goods needed
- Donations of yard sale items which can be displayed
on a folding table. Electronic devices should be in working condition
before donation
